Autistic Spectrum Disorders

We use a multidisciplinary approach with focus on delivering holistic, person centered support to individuals with autism. Our staff has additional training as per the individual needs of each person we support. We recognise that each person with Autism is effected differently and thus their needs will be different too.

During initial assessments we will meet the families, social workers or any other person who has been involved to get as much information about the needs of the service user as possible. This enables us to develop a person centered plan that is outcome focused and enables individuals to achieve their potential for independence.

We recognise that transition planning can be a complex and stressful process for all concerned but is extremely important. We will try to make the process as smooth and stress free as possible by working with the family/carer and local CTLD teams.

We believe that independence, increased social skills, improved communication, reduction in anxiety and challenging behaviour are achievable goals.
